AIKIDO
NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME
Aikido
Aikido is a Japanese martial art and competitive sport. We are part of an international network of Shodokan Aikido clubs who follow the teaching of Kenji Tomiki. He founded our system of Aikido by creating a way for his students to test their skills against each other using randori or free practice so that they could keep the techniques real and effective. We hold Aikido classes St. Mark's Church Greenwich, if you are interested then please come along and give it a go.
AIKIDO FOR CHILDREN
We have been running Aikido classes for Juniors for almost 10 years. During that time several of the juniors have progressed through the Grading system to obtain their Junior Sho Dan (Black Belt). Boys and girls can start from the age of 9 years old and will progress into the adult's classes around the age of 14 years.
AIKIDO FOR ADULTS
We have members of all grades, from complete beginners to 5th Dan. Beginners are always welcome, so if you are interested then please come along to our next class, it’s the best way to find out what Shodokan Aikido is all about.
